Terms And Conditions

Bookings:

• It is Client’s responsibility to ensure that sufficient time is allowed to arrive on time to their destination.
• It is Client’s responsibility to book the suitable vehicle capacity to carry the number of passengers and luggage.
  • Maximum capacity for Toyota Corolla cars is 3 people and 3 pieces of luggage.
  • Maximum capacity for V.W. Caddy cars is 4 people and 4 pieces of luggage.
  • Maximum capacity for Hyundai H1 vehicles is 7 people and 7 pieces of luggage.
• All bookings are subject to availability.
• Bookings are accepted through our call center (+202 19970) available 24/7. All our telephone bookings are taken with great attention and care to make sure that it is accurate, all calls maybe recorded to make sure that maximum quality of service provided.
• Bookings are accepted through Facebook page, online booking, e-mail as long as full Data are provided & subject to availability at time of booking.
• Booking confirmation shall be sent to Clients within one (01) business day.

Change in flight plans:

• Please advise us in case of any change in your flight plans such as cancellation, amendment or delays.
• If the flight is delayed, we will endeavor to monitor the flight situation and accommodate the change according to the information provided by Cairo International Airport authorities in the same day, otherwise the booking will be automatically cancelled.

Safety rules:

• The driver has the right to refuse any passenger whom’s opinion is a danger to the Passenger himself, driver or vehicle due to health and safety rules. However, the passenger is liable to pay the full fare.
• Smoking/alcoholic beverages are not allowed whilst in the vehicle.
• The driver has the right to deny the service if the passengers do not conduct themselves in an orderly fashion, or if there are risks to the cleanliness and the safety of the vehicle and driver.
• The driver is not responsible to fulfill the transfer if the passengers are intoxicated, or otherwise disorderly.
• The driver will have the right to deny the service if there is a risk of damage to the vehicle by the passengers, their luggage or their pets. In case the service is denied due to such circumstances, the booking will be fully charged.

Price:

• Our transfer prices are quoted per car/vehicle per way.
• We will check the flight status before your arrival. There are no additional charges for flight delays.
• A charge will be collected for any transfer where the driver is required to wait longer than the scheduled time as follow.

Waiting time charges:

On all pick-ups other than Airport pickups, the maximum free waiting time is 30 Minutes and for Airport pickups, the free waiting time is 45 Minutes from flight landing time, after the allowed free waiting time, below charges will be applied:

• EGP100.00 per hour – subject to change

Additional pick-up or drop-off:

• Diversion up to 10KM will be charged EGP100.00 - subject to change

Payment:

• For same day from airport transfers reservation payment can be paid to the company representative at time of service.
• For same day from other places transfers reservation payment can be paid to the driver at time of service.
• For credit card payment for online reservation bookings. Your credit card will be charged for the full amount at the time you make your reservation.

Refund Policy:

• If our vehicle is not on time for your pick-up or service is not provided as stated.
• If passenger cancelled his/her transfers 72 hours before the execution date/time.
• For online booking, bank charges will be applied for credit card payment.
• Refund will not be provided in the following cases:
  • Passenger provided the wrong information about date, flight number and address or any other details.
  • If passenger is not on time and/or missed his flight.
  • If passenger left the pick-up point without informing the driver.
• Refund claim must be made in writing to (airport@cairoshuttlebus.com) within 14 days of the pick-up time or drop off time.
• Cairo Airport Travel will process all refund claims as priorities and in the shortest possible time.
• Cairo Airport Travel reserves the right to investigate the circumstances, which might require three working days.
• The processing time is subject to the accuracy of the refund claim request and the responding time of your responses to possible additional questions.
• Under all circumstances refund claim, will take a few days for payment to carry out a possible refund transaction.
• The refund claim will not exceed the value paid of the transportation booked.

Lost Items:

Upon reaching your destination, please check to see that you have retrieved all your belongings, such as bags, briefcases, computers … small items such as mobile phones, cameras, small bags sunglasses …etc.

• Passengers are fully responsible for their personal belongings.
• We do our best to return items left in our cars/vehicles to their owners, but we assume no liability for lost, stolen, damaged or misplaced.
• Any incurred in returning a left-behind item to its owner must be paid by the owner

Liability:

Every possible effort is always made by Cairo Airport Travel drivers to easily transfer you to your destination on time and in a safe and comfortable manner. Cairo Airport Travel drivers will take the best route to your destination by considering the following facts, traffic, time, road closures, diversions…etc.

• Cairo Airport Travel will not acquire any liability whatsoever in the event of delay due to circumstances out of their control such as:
  • Bad or critical weather conditions.
  • Road traffic accidents.
  • Unexpected traffic delays.
  • Industrial action by third parties.
  • Problems caused by passengers.
  • The vehicle being held or delayed by a Police officer or Government official employee.

Cancellation Policy:

• You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 72 hours before the pick-up time.
• All cancellations requests to be in writing via e-mail or a call on our hotline (002 0219970)
• In case of no-show full charge will be applied and refund is not allowed.

Gratuities:

• Cairo Airport Travel rates do not include a gratuity.
• Tipping is allowed and is much appreciated by our drivers.
